This watercolor swatch was made over the course of a couple weeks. I kept it tucked in my sketchbook and tested colors on it as I painted other things, mostly flowers. Even though swatches like this are just for color testing purposes, sometimes they feel like a painting in and of themselves! This one just reminds me of summer.
